Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Real Deal These socks are great. I have high blood pressure and swelling in the feet, ankles and calfs. I tried "diabetic" socks at the drug store and they were better than regular socks, but still left a line around the calf and front of my leg...even when I cut them at the top. these don't (and I didn't cut them at the top)! They're worth every penny!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MUCH BETTER THAN I EXPECTED ! I bought several pair of these from an Amazon supplier last year. They were really poor quality. The 10 pair I received from Renfro were 100% better quality. I suspect the Amazon socks were "knock-offs" ??! Thanks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to get on! My husband has Parkinson's Disease and has a LOT of trouble putting on regular socks, whether crew or dress. These go on easily and are very comfortable. I just wish they made some like these in some kind of nylon for dress socks.

These socks are listed both as "latex free" and as containing "spandex" (which contains latex). How can they be both? Is the latex simply covered with other fibers with the assumption there will be no contact with skin?

Asked by: Pacomi
Pacomi, Cotton, nylon and Lycra Spandex textile fibers alone do not contain latex. However, finished products may contain latex added to these textiles. These garments can cause problems if they use elastic or elastic thread, which is typically rubberized. Rubber is cheaper and sews easier than synthetic elastics. Rubber yarns are used in surgical fabrics, elastic bandages, support hose, underwear, elastic yarns, shoe fabrics, tops of socks and hosiery. Elastic waistbands are used in cotton underwear and leg openings. Read more at: http://latexallergyresources.org/articles/cotton-nylon-spandex-and-allergies#sthash.2x2aKbF1.dpufI We have our product tested for contents and rubber and it would have to be stated on the packaging by industries standards if it contained rubber. I hope this answers your question and feel free to email us at renfrosocks@renfro.com or call 1-855-655-8134 EST Monday thru Friday.
